Michigan’s 2022 U.S. Open Cider Championship Winners

Earlier this week, the 2022 U.S. Open Cider Championship winners were announced for the eighth annual competition.

According to the official website, 290 different ciders were entered into competition spanning 25 different styles of cider.

Three Michigan brands brought home 6 medals from the 2022 U.S. Open Cider Championship. Check out the winners from Michigan and the award winning Ciders!

Blake’s Hard Cider Co (Armada)

• Gold – Apple Pie Spiced Cider – Apple Pie
• Bronze – Applewine / Ice Cider / Imperial Cider – Amshire

Odd Brothers Craft Cider (Homer)

• Gold – Mimosa Cider – Ecto Cider
• Silver – Peach Cider – Millions of Peaches
• Bronze – Apple Pie Spiced Cider – The Wanderer

Thornapple Brewing Co (Grand Rapids)

• Gold – Specialty Cider and Perry – Ginger Peach
