Earlier this week, Discover Kalamazoo announced that the Give a Craft® Beer Trail Passport has expanded into Southwest Michigan, specifically the 269 area code.
The program has been around since 2015 and went digital in 2020 using Bandwango. Special offers and discounts were added then too to encourage more visits during the pandemic.
“Discover Kalamazoo also helps to market the 269 area code and we felt it was a great next step to expand the program to more of Southwest Michigan,” said Dana Wagner, Director of Marketing and Communications for Discover Kalamazoo. “We hope this program expansion will ultimately bring more visitors to the area for extended stays and generate continued success for the Give a Craft program.”
The recent add of 16 breweries rose the total number of locations to 29. The new breweries include:

- Guardian Brewing Company
- Handmap Brewing
- Liquid Note
- Murray Street Brewing Company
- Paw Paw Brewing Co
- River St Joe

- Tantrick Brewing Co
- Tapistry Brewing Co
- Territorial Brewing Company
- Three Blondes Brewing
- Warner Brew Haus
According to the press release, Give a Craft® pass is free and can be completed once per year per person. Participants have until December 31 each year to complete their visits, check in, and earn prizes.
