The Greater Lansing Brewers are back with another Greater Lansing Beer Trail month-long event for February 2023!

The popularity of the beer trail has been growing over the years. 2022 saw two successful trails in February and September. The year before had trails in February and August.

February’s month-long event’s logo has taken on an Oregon Trail theme for social media. The actual beer trail’s theme is Winter Beer!

The breweries participating in the February 2023 Greater Lansing Beer Trail are:

Participants can pick up a card at each of the participating breweries, get their server to sign and date, and visit each of the breweries during the month of February.  Once their card is filled, it can be turned in for a prize. According to ConfluxCity, the prize is a t-shirt!

The Greater Lansing Brewers have made changes to the beer trail for February 2023. They are only printing out a set number of cards for participants to complete. As their event page says on Facebook, “when they are gone, they are gone.” Prizes must also be picked up within a month of contact, so make sure you pick up the prize once available.

According to their Facebook page, the Greater Lansing Brewers are “an organization of Lansing’s craft breweries” that aim “to grow and reach more people with delicious beverages.”

The Michigan Brewery Map app is the best way to check out the breweries before actually checking them out. With accurate locations, links to social media accounts, and a place to keep personal notes, this app is ideal for everyone interested in finding and visiting Michigan breweries.

One thing that I found to be extremely helpful during September 2022 was a matrix of when each brewery was open. It provided a quick glance on the days when I was available to check a few off the trail. I hope it helps you!

See you on the Greater Lansing Beer Trail!

Cheers!

UPDATED on January 30 with theme and prize updates, along with new MichiGrain hours!

Ed Norton

Edwin "Ed" Norton was first introduced to craft beer when his designated fraternity Big Brother Vince asked him if he knew anything about the topic. Ed admitted his ignorance and the rest is history as Ed and Vince would split six-packs of craft beers each week during Ed's probationary status. Ed is now a craft beer enthusiast who is always on the lookout for a beer he has not tried when bottle shopping or drinking at breweries and bars. In addition to drinking beer, this livelong Michigan resident enjoys a bunch of hobbies that he doubts you really care about, other than drinking beer and sounding off about it.
