Michigan Brewers Scholarship 2017

Detroit, MI, November 10, 2016– It is our pleasure that we are teaming up with nine different breweries to start the Michigan Brewers Scholarship.

We will be giving away $2,000 to up to three Schoolcraft College Brewing and Distillation Program students. We will be assigning $1,250, $500, and $250. Our goal is to promote a learning environment and continue to grow one of the biggest industries in the state of Michigan by easing the student loans portion of some students.

A follow up press release within the next ten days will discuss our partners and goals for the future!

Ken

A craft beer fan since 19, used to look for your non-regular beers on frequent trips to downtown Windsor with friends, at 21 Ken basically took over an entire refrigerator with monthly visits to Merchants. With 5 years of podcasting prior, Ken decided to create the brand and show Better on Draft in the spring of 2015, and began creating his dream of a beer-centric website that wasn't too full of itself. He now runs the board and does a lot of the back office stuff while the show goes on, keeping everyone in line, and the beer flowing!
