I’ll be frank with you, I’m not always convinced that humans are all that good. I am hoping that this beer will convince me otherwise.

The look is pretty dark. It throws off a lovely warm glow, slightly reddish and cozy. There isn’t a ton of smell but if you get right in there you can find a bit of hoppy goodness and a pleasant nuttiness.

I like the interesting taste combination here. It’s definitely hoppy and definitely malty. Certainly an IPA but absolutely a brown. It’s a quality combination that many will enjoy. I would say that this is more of a brown than an IPA so if that’s not really your taste I would advise you to avoid but I think those who are adverse to hops should take a cautious sip. I find the flavor to be very cozy. It has a warm and nutty taste but there is a pleasant hop zip on the finish. I am a fan of the combination and a bigger fan of the higher ABV!
Honestly, I was pretty shocked that the ABV of this beer was so high. It’s not out of this world but it has a much more gentle taste than 9%. As with most of these beers as it warms the stronger tastes come out but you would be hard pressed to find a more drinkable beer. Brown fan? Hop fan? Grab one!
