Welcome to January’s New Ohio Beer Labels!
All of the beer labels featured here are available for the public to view on the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) website. You can spend your time figuring it out or you can check out our monthly highlights. We do not have special access nor did we hack into each brewery’s “top secret” files. Check out past beer label posts here.
It should be noted that TTB approved labels are not guaranteed to be on shelves in the immediate future or even at all. Breweries need to have labels ready if they decide a beer is a go for packaging and distribution. There may be a multitude of reasons to release a product or not. The purpose of this post is to start a conversation about what is potentially on the horizon in the Ohio beer scene.
This month’s highlights include labels from BrewDog USA, Dankhouse Brewing Co, Esoteric Brewing, Fat Head’s Brewery, Fifty West Brewing Company, Fretboard Brewing Company, Great Lakes Brewing Co, Heavy Beer Company, Ignite Brewing Co, Inside the Five Brewing Co, Jackie O’s, Land Grant Brewing Company, Little Fish Brewing Co, Penguin City Brewing Co, Platform Beer Co, Rhinegeist Brewery, and Urban Artifact.
January’s featured label is Devil’s Kush, an American IPA with 6.66% ABV from Columbus Brewing Company.
Which label is your favorite?
Cheers!
