Short’s I Got 5 On It Review

Style: American IPA
ABV: 7.5%
7 Stars

The haze craze is great and I enjoy several of the unfiltered IPA’s that have popped up locally. However, the characteristics that drew me to IPA’s are often muted in these NE Style brews. I enjoy a crisp, hoppy, resinous, and slightly bitter IPA. Short’s “I Got 5 On It” American IPA fits the bill well. Brewed with five different hops, there’s a lot going on here. It has the potential to be a trainewreck, but it works out well. The Tangerine rind seems to pull it together some while adding some bitterness. This is yet another Short’s IPA worth grabbing. Cheers!
