Generally, I enjoy beers from Cleveland’s Great Lakes Brewing Company. They offer a wide range of styles, all of which are good representations of those respective styles. They have a few that are absolutely excellent expressions and their “Chillwave” Double IPA is one of them. This Mosaic hopped beauty is a favorite of mine and I look forward to it every year. At 9%ABV, it’s dangerously easy to drink. It opens with some juicy tropical notes that give way to a sweeter malty body. The finish is really clean and reminds you of summer. If you see them around, grab them. They won’t be fresh for much longer. Cheers!

One of my favorite Summer brews, by far. Tasty and strong… a dangerous combo.
