Founders Harvest Ale Beer Review

"Autumn in a bottle!"

Style: American IPA (Wet Hopped)
ABV: 7.6%
8 Stars

This is my absolute favorite time of year. Football is in full swing, the weather is perfect (kinda) and Founders Harvest Ale is here! There are a few beers that I anticipate every season and this one is at the top of that list. It tastes exactly like Fall should. The wet hopping gives it a bit of an earthy taste that blends well with some subtle toasted malt notes. There are some surprising citrus notes that didn’t hit me until the finish and lingered a bit after each sip. I will caution you to consume this as fresh as possible. It has been my experience that it falls off relatively quickly. My pack was bottled on 10/3/16 and I have no doubt that they will be consumed before they are a month old.

A craft beer fan since 19, used to look for your non-regular beers on frequent trips to downtown Windsor with friends, at 21 Ken basically took over an entire refrigerator with monthly visits to Merchants. With 5 years of podcasting prior, Ken decided to create the brand and show Better on Draft in the spring of 2015, and began creating his dream of a beer-centric website that wasn't too full of itself. He now runs the board and does a lot of the back office stuff while the show goes on, keeping everyone in line, and the beer flowing!
